VICO Tent & Awning Replacement Cover For The Preston Cook Kit

We're producing this cover as a companion to the Reproduction Preston Mess Kit being sold by Honorable Outfitters (Shawn Dyer). It is NOT a Reproduction (we will be selling those), but are offered as an Economy Cover for those who can't afford or need the Reproduction Cover we are developing (which will cost about $100). It is basically what the local Tent & Awning Com[any, hardware store, or lady down the street would have made for you if you had lost or damaged the Factory cover.

The pics shown are in-progress pics of the working prototype. As soon as we have a Production version, we will post those pics here as well.

 The Basic cover will include a canvas outer shell with felt lining, D rings for attachment of our Belt Hanger strap, one of our shoulder straps with sheepskin pad, or a shoulder strap of your own and a strap closure that snaps in front and prevents the kit from falling out.

 Differences between the working prototype and the production version will be:

(1) 7 oz khaki canvas cover--the color and fabric of the working prototype are not what we will be using. The production fabric will be a shade or two darker.

(2) The width will be reduced to provide a snugger fit.

(3) Attachment points of the D Rings and Closure straps will be relocated for a cleaner appearance and mor positive attachment.

We are sure this will be a popular item with those who have already purchased Shawn's Preston Cook Kit so we are listing these as Pre-Order so that we can purchase the correct quantity of fabric so as to maintain a uniform appearance. Shipment of these will commence as soon as we have Production versions made and will be shipped on a First In Line basis--the first ordered will be the first shipped, then the second, third, fourth etc. 

We've assigned a weight as low as possible so that the order system will charge the lowest possible shipping cost, but it will not allow us to refund excess shipping on Pre-Order items.
